Using the iPad in Spanish Classes at Seton Hill
March 3, 2011
Debra Faszer-McMahon, Ph.D., assistant professor, Spanish, uses the iPad daily with her Spanish classes at Seton Hill University.
“I use iBooks so the students can access their textbook via their iPad,” said Faszer-McMahon. “I also like to use the iPad for group activities.”
Students engage in language learning games like mindsnacks. Faszer-McMahon also uses iPad flashcards to assist students with learning the Spanish language.
Some of Faszer-McMahon’s students are working on a Spanish language film project and use their iPad to research films and review the digital promotion of films.
