Students recognized for academic excellence by Seton Hill U.
Seton Hill University’s chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda, an honor society which recognizes outstanding academic achievement for adult students in higher education, recently inducted 10 students.
Alpha Sigma Lambda partners with colleges and universities to celebrate the scholarship and leadership of adult students in higher education. Alpha Sigma Lambda’s purpose is to recognize adults who achieve academic excellence while facing the competing demands of home life and professional careers.
Inductees must have a minimum of 24 graded semester hours in an undergraduate degree program. Members are selected from the highest ten percent of the group of qualified students and must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5.
