The Seton Hill University Communication Honor Society, Phi Gamma, has inducted nine communication students who have excelled in the communication field by completing at least 60 semester hours with a 3.0 or better grade point average and 12 semester hours in the communication program with a 3.25 or better grade point average.

Seton Hill University’s Phi Gamma Chapter of the National Communication Association’s Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta, was established in 2006. Lambda Pi Eta has over 400 active chapters at four-year colleges and universities worldwide.

The goals of the honor society are to: recognize, foster, and reward outstanding scholastic achievement in communication studies; stimulate interest in the field of communication; promote and encourage professional development among communication majors; provide an opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas in the field of communication; establish and maintain closer relationships between faculty and students; and to explore options for graduate education in communication studies.
