Seton Hill College Welcomes Karen Newill
Newill also designs rehabilitation programs for student-athletes who have been injured. She hopes to begin off-season conditioning programs to better prepare athletes for their seasons by keeping them in shape to avoid injuries once official practices begin.
Seton Hill currently has over 100 student-athletes with a large increase expected with the beginning of the men’s soccer and golf teams getting underway in the fall. “It is extremely important that we have a quality trainer like Karen as our population of athletes grown,” said Dan McCarty, men’s soccer and golf coach for Seton Hill. “Having Karen’s guidance and ability to look after the health of all our athletes is very important to the success of all of Seton Hill sports programs.”
