Seton Hill Baseball Continuing to Build
Marizzaldi comments about his crop of recruits, “This is not only a group of talented players, but just a great bunch of kids who I believe are going to make a great foundation for the next four years. They all realize the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead, and I feel these student athletes will help us make an impact in the American Mideast Conference next season.”
These ten recruits bring the Griffins baseball roster up to seventeen for next year, as baseball joins men's basketball, men's tennis, men's cross country and women's field hockey as brand new varsity athletic programs at Seton Hill for the 2003-04 academic year. These sports will be implemented in conjunction with the expansion of facilities at Seton Hill. The University is breaking ground this May on a brand new Sports and Recreation complex, with plans to add new baseball and soccer fields on campus in the future.
