In Your Write Mind Working Retreat for Writers at Seton Hill U. 6/22 - 24
Scheduled to participate in “In Your Write Mind” are Michael Bracken, an award-winning writer of fiction and non-fiction who also provides editorial services to book and periodical publishers, and Jennifer Jackson, a literary agent with the Donald Maas Agency in New York. Also participating in “In Your Write Mind” will be Elaine Ervin (SHU 06), romance author; Ron Edison (SHU 06), mystery, fantasy and comedy author; Carmine DeYoung (SHU 73, WPF 01), children’s literature author; Heidi Miller (SHU 07), science fiction and travel author; Patrick Picciarelli (SHU 01) crime fiction author; Shelley Bates (SHU 02), romance and young adult author; Sally Bosco (SHU 03), young adult horror author; and Diana Botsford (SHU 06), film and television writer and producer.
On Saturday, June 23 Seton Hill’s Writing Popular Fiction program is proud to present a free, public lecture by science fiction author Catherine Asaro. Asaro – who holds a PhD in Chemical Physics from Harvard – is the author of 16 novels that blend hard science with adventure and romance. Asaro’s presentation will be held at 7 p.m. in Cecilian Hall on Seton Hill’s Greensburg, Pa. campus.
