Honor Society for Adult Students Inducts 12 New Members
Seton Hill University’s chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda, an honor society which recognizes outstanding academic achievement for adult students in higher education, recently inducted 12 students.
Alpha Sigma Lambda partners with colleges and universities to celebrate the scholarship and leadership of adult students in higher education. Alpha Sigma Lambda’s purpose is to recognize adults who accomplish academic excellence while facing the competing demands of home and work.
Inductees must have a minimum of 24 graded semester hours in an undergraduate degree program. Members are selected from the highest ten percent of the group of qualified students and must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5.
