Governor Rendell to Discuss Economic Development at Democratic Policy Committee Hearing at Seton Hill
Greensburg, PA –Gov. Ed Rendell will speak about his economic development legislative package at a public hearing on his Plan for a New Pennsylvania to be held by the House Democratic Policy Committee from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 13 in Room 206 (Second Floor) of the Administration Building, Seton Hill University in Greensburg.
Policy Committee Chairman Stephen H. Stetler, D-York, will chair the hearing, while Rep. Tom Tangretti, D-Westmoreland, who is Democratic chairman of the House Commerce Committee’s Economic Development Subcommittee, will serve as legislative district host.
The current hearing agenda is:
1:30 p.m. –Welcome and opening statements
1:45 p.m. –A panel of businessmen from the Chamber of Commerce
2:30 p.m. –Dennis Yablonsky, secretary of the state Department of Community and Economic Development
3:00 p.m. –Gov. Ed Rendell
