GREENSBURG, PA- John Fogle, Athletic Director of Seton Hill College, announced that Chelsea Spencer, daughter of Ed and Renee Spencer of Ashtabuka, OH, has accepted a golf scholarship. She will be attending Seton Hill College in the Fall of 2002.

A senior at Edgewood High School, Spencer served as co-captain and #1 player on the first-ever Northeastern Conference Women’s Golf Championship Team at Edgewood. She is a three-year letter varsity in golf and a member of the All-Conference First Team. In addition, she is a two-year varsity letter winner in basketball and softball.

Spencer is a member of the National Honors Society and the All-Academic/ All-Conference Team, has been listed in Who’s Who Among High School Students and was a representative at the OHSAA Athletic Leadership Conference.

Spencer, who plans to major in political science at Seton Hill, said: “I’m excited to pursue my future academic and athletic goals at Seton Hill College. I feel it is a place I can flourish.”
