John Fogle, Athletic Director at Seton Hill University, announced that Timothy M. Blasko, son of Joe and Cindy Blasko of McKeesport, PA, has accepted a soccer scholarship and will be attending Seton Hill University in the Fall of 2002.

A senior at East Allegheny High School, Blasko was a member of the boys' varsity track, baseball and soccer teams. He was a member of the 2001 WPIAL Champion team for soccer and was on the winning Century Conference Championship team for track. Blasko was a member of the National Honors Society, is listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students, and was a 2002 Olympic Torchbearer.

Blasko received the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence, American Legion Award, Optimist’s Club Oratorical Award, Presidential Academic Fitness Award, Local, Council & District Cultural Arts Awards for Music and Photography, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Outstanding Young Citizen Award and Penn State University’s Outstanding High School Student Scholarship Award.

Blasko plans to major in education at Seton Hill.
