Haley Nolan is a Pittsburgh, PA based choreographer, educator, and performer. She is the founder of Nolan Dance Collective, a professional performance based dance company that explores the fierce athleticism of dance, human relationships, and how we experience empathy through art. Haley graduated from Seton Hill University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a concentration in choreography. She specializes in contemporary partnering and contact choreography, while teaching a wide range of styles that include modern, contemporary, ballet, and commercial jazz. Haley travels the East Coast teaching masterclasses and setting choreography for theatre companies, dance schools, and universities. Her choreography has been showcased at Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theatre, the American College Dance Association, the Westmoreland Museum of Art, the Ryan Theatre, the Cumberland Theatre, the Ohrstrom-Bryant Theatre, and the PBT Shared Spaces Festival. Most notably, Nolan Dance Collective debuted work in New York City as part of KoDaFe 2024 by iKADA Dance at Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theatre. Haley believes that dance is the art of language through movement, and involves sensation, mystery, interpretation and presentation. She aims to create not only dancers, but story tellers who are kind, compassionate people who are tuned into the world around them and the impact that their actions have on it and others.
